TIMETABLE STRUCTURE

The school timetable operates on a 10-day cycle with each day having 6 x 50 minute periods.

The Junior School (Years 7 to 10) begins with a bell at 8.20am Students move to roll Call 8.25am followed by a 15 minute reading period (USSR - Uninterrupted Silent Sustained Reading) on Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday. On Wednesday, Roll Call is followed by Assembly in Terms 1 and 4. In Terms 2 and 3, Assembly is held at the end of period 2.

The Senior School (Years 11 and 12) begin lessons at 7.55am on Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday. On Wednesday, these students attend Assembly at the same time as the Junior School.

Due to senior students starting early on four days of the week, there are no lessons for these students on Tuesday and Thursday afternoons. It is a privilege to leave early; students may be required by the school to remain behind for specific reasons at late notice with regards to behaviour or work. Students who study TAFE courses attend TAFE on Tuesday and Thursday afternoons.

A Senior Study operates at the top of ‘J’ Block for students who do not have timetabled lessons.
